iPhone Bible
The iPhone Bible is a free King James Bible program for the iPhone.
I am going to be adding new features as time permits. iPhone Bible works on Safari for the iPhone, and Safari 3 Beta. It is based Joe Hewitt’s excellent iPhone templates and iUI.
Easy to link to
Using a simple directory structure, you can easily link to each chapter and verse of the Bible. The linked to verse reference will highlight, and you will be taken directly to that verse. Simply link in this format:
http://iphone.clearsight.org/go.php?g=Book Chapter Number:Verse
Example:
http://iphone.clearsight.org/go.php?g=John 3:16
Use it like an iPhone
Flicking works. User interface matches the iPhone’s interface and is consistent. No odd backgrounds to distract you. You can use this for casual reading and devotions. Work is being done so that you may use it for study and more!

iPhone Bible is in it’s early stages. If you have a feature suggestion, just ask! If you find a bug, please let me know. Especially if you have an iPhone: I do not have one and there is no real iPhone simulator yet. Also, if you are one of the over 300 users per day, please consider donating. I am the only person working on this, and I work full time to save money to go back to college. Funds would be used to:
- Put iPhone Bible on its own server, to make the linking shorter
- Pay down debt to attend college again
- Anything else that could help the project
- Pay for food, rent, etc.
