Texas Investor: $300 Oil
Scaring the public with $300/barrel oil predictions , T. Boone Pickens tours the US promoting his plan to avoid this: cars run gas, all electricity produced by wind power.
Where will the US get all this wind power from? Wind farms, built along a path in the US that stretches from Mexico to Canada. The land the wind farms will be built from will be seized from citizens using eminent domain.
“I think we’re talking eminent domain,” Pickens told reporters after the hearing, referring to the practice in which the government sometimes seizes private property with monetary compensation. He said bringing the power to the coasts would take an effort similar to former president Dwight Eisenhower’s building of the national highway system during the Cold War. Reuters.com
