MSNBC has an article on Saddams death. They say he was afraid. Someone, that insisted that they did nothing wrong, was afraid to die. Let us look at this, and note that even the ruler of a nation cannot get away with the wrong that they do: it will catch up to them. The wicked do pay. Military Considers Recruiting Foreigners: Not the Whole Story
The military is having trouble recruiting again, and cannot meet expectations, according to The Boston Globe. Thats a change in last weeks wonderful exceeding of their expectations. Not since reading 1984 have I witnessed the quick change of a news story. Apparently, recruiting counts are done on a minute by minute basis, and snap decisions need to be made on the spot. This week, since the recuiting stank, and everyone hates the military, the military is considering outside help. From foreigners. Their reward for enlisting will be citizenship.
Vienna Modification
I use Vienna to keep track of all the RSS feed I read every day. While there are a few things that bug me about the application, the one that bugged me the most was the wasted space on the sides. I just changed that. You can download the nib here.
Minimum Wage Woe
This is why the minimum wage in Florida should have never been raised. As a side note, when it was up for vote, I voted against it. My family and friend were mad at me. Apparently, I was a cruel heartless person. That is fine, the minimum wage was increased anyway. I got fired, and the college tuition went up. When people in Pensacola voted for minimum wage, they voted to increase the amount of hobos, and make Pensacola more of a rich boys club. If you want to know why it takes a $20/hr job to make ends meet, its partially because of this increase.
