Free hosting for Katrina
Do you have an idea on how to help with Katrina using the Internet? Apathy Online will offer you free DNS web hosting if you need it for your idea.
Basically, if you want to help, but feel that you can help through a creative use of the Internet, we will let you have free DNS hosting for your project. What does it include? Nearly everything you need, that we can give. How do you get it? Comment here with your e-mail, e-mail us, or contact us some other way. The only thing that we cannot give away is domain names. If you need one, GoDaddy has really cheap ones.
Is there anything you would like to help us with financially? Just donate to the Red Cross for now. They need the money more than we do.
We are not sure what will come of these projects, but we hope to help someone with a really good idea, that would not be able to do it otherwise.
Note: This is availible on a first come, first serve basis.

I wanted to offer my services, volunteering to restore photos for hurricane victims. This is not business related in any way (and of course free); It is something I have the ability and resources to do, and the least I offer. The photos will need to be send via e-mail, and I will restore them, to a new printable version. Knowing how photos are a documentation of our lives, I am hopeful that I may at least be able to replace damaged picture with restored/repaired ones, that can be printed on photo paper. You will need to scan and upload the picture file, and have a working e-mail address where the restored photo can be sent to.
