Gun saved someones life
Are you ready for this? I bet it is not going to be covered by the major networks for long. Why? It is a situation where someone with a gun saved someones life. Seventy-two year old Due Moore shot and killed a man who was stabbing his ex-wife, Joyce Cordova.
Due Moore had a gun with him, saw someone attacking another person, and shot him at least three times. Now, where are the people who insist that guns are the problem? The gun was not the problem in this situation. It saved someones life. If Moore had not been there, Cordova would have probably been a mess on the floor. Perhaps she should have kept a gun herself.
Stupid Taxes!
I looked at my check on Friday, expecting a bit more money because of the overtime I worked. Nope. I lost almost 20% of my check to taxes. That stinks! I worked 10 hours overtime, and I loose most of that overtime money. The thought entered my head: “If I was on Welfare, I could make more…”
It is not worth my time to work so long and receive almost no compensation for my hard work. It is discouraging to see that the more I work, the less I get. It is almost like a cap on my check; as I make more, more is taken out to bring me back down to a “limit”. I can barely pay living expenses with that check, and I am paying the government also. Don’t get me wrong, I support the right of the government to charge taxes. I do not support the government taking that much for programs I don’t want or need (and that people don’t want or need). What I need is to pay my college bill, and replace my paper-clip laptop.

Quite honestly, by the same uncompromising truth telling standard that you claim to be bound by, I tell you: You are either knowingly deceiving people, or you have deceived yourself.
1) People who go into the military don’t go to have fun. They know that their life may be required to do what the country demands of them. You’re rants about the poor soldiers is useless. Nobody demands the firefighters stop fighting fires because they might die, do they? It is the soldiers job to protect us by being placed into harms way. It is his responsibility.
2) Now for the hypocrite/liar part. When were you the lying hypocrite? When you spoke kindly of Bush, or when you started going against him like you are now?
3) Why are you still using the Downing Street Memos, when they are known to prove nothing?

Men as just “sperm donors”
BBC news reader Michael Buerk fears that men may become nothing more than sperm donors. This does have some truth to it. Look at how the media has portrayed men on TV the last few years. The stupid fathers that are kept in line by their wives who are incredibly smarter than they are. In almost every stupid sitcom, the wife saves the husband from something stupid that he did. In the name of entertainment.
Is it any wonder that he is afraid that men will become useless sperm donors?
