Things generally do not go well when people make decisions based solely on feelings. For example, NYC making the Lowe’s Paridise Theater in the Bronx a historical building. The building has been unused for many years now, mainly because it is now considered a historical building, and is under preservation guidelines.

Self Proclaimed “Prophet” Puts on UFO Show for Local News

Self proclaimed “prophet” Ramon Watkins “summoned” a UFO for Las Vegas TV reporters. Apparently, something did show up, traveled fro a bit, and then left. Watkins plans to show more this week, since the “voices in his head” told him to do it.

Mayor Who “married” Gay Couples Faces Charges

The mayor in a New York Village, New Paltz, who decided to wed gay couples will face trial. Mayor Jason West will face charges for marrying couples without marriage licenses.

Knife Ban called for the UK

In order to lower stabbings, doctors’ in the UK want a ban on some kitchen knives.
First, people said that guns needed to be banned because they were terrible offensive weapons. Now, after guns were banned and people moved using kitchen knives, they want to ban those also. You can read the full BBC article here Apparently the government already has bans on many kinds of knives, and they responded rightfully, saying that the current restrictions were enough.

Airport Security seeing you naked

The Department of Homeland Security is going to start testing a new X-Ray machines that see through clothing. According to CNet.com, X-Ray machines that display a naked image of the subject will be deployed at airports soon.
That is just fantastic! I can see all the citizens being convinced that this trash is good for them. Already, I have had people tell me: “But its for safety. We must do it!” I have even seen other people say similar on CNet.
